Train-Girl Is Back!

I haven't seen her since I got back from Bangladesh (which strangely is when I started this blog and should explain the lack of posts about her) and yet all of a sudden five months later, she's appeared on my route home again. It's the same hair, the same Nike ruck sack and the same indifference to her neighbour.

Yes, I ignored her. But give me a break; it was kinda unexpected seeing her again after so long, and so I need a bit more time to reformulate my game plan. All sensible ideas welcome, but the first person to mention Harold gets a kick in the nuts.

Can you bring about world peace now, Ish?

  1. Just start up a casual conversation with her.. I mean you both have similar journeys to make.. and it's hardly abnormal for strangers to spark up conversations at train stations etc is it now?

  2. sanny, i still stand by the advise i gave back then.

he should start off with a smile. if he gets one back - thats a good welcoming, approachable sign. he cant go wrong. if he starts talking to her - however friednly or casual, it might scare her away.

  3. yeah a smile is always good.. but umm it may be awkward to smile at her then go chat to her..

But test the water.. go with the flow

Trains are delayed etc.. just start off like that.. don't think about it tooooooo much just go with whatever u feel at ease with depending n the situation.
